This character is reminder of a daily gratitude practice and named after a book by one of my sign painting heroes, E.C. Matthews, ‘Twixt Here & Sundown. The idea came from a daily ritual where I would say THANK YOU aloud at the first sight of sunrise each morning and the impact it had on my day. Sunny sort of visited me with a message which said-
“Howdy Partner, ‘Twixt Here & Sundown ya outta tip the ol’ hat to the big guy upstairs and let out an audible THANK YA the next time the Sun gets in yer eyes. Yer pal, Sunny”
Hope these can be your reminder to tip the ol’ hat and keep on the Sunny side!
